Welcome to my site.
My main focus is natural looking portraits. I very much enjoy working in a photojournalistic, and sometimes, a 'contrived-candid' way. This is because those are the images I love myself - the pictures that show the intensity of love, depth of strength, or the loudness of a laugh. I think art should be something that evokes a strong emotion while looking interesting and beautiful. Those are the types of images I try to provide. I work with a digital SLR (almost always) and avoid trying to control the scene but rather work hard to discretely facilitate a comfortable and positive atmosphere with as little direction as possible. Because of this I shoot high volume and believe I am able to capture the real laugh, smile, tear, or touch that looks natural and, in my opinion, best.
